How it works
Open an image
Click the image to sample a pixel, or use the arrow keys and Enter on the image.
Copy a color value, explore the dominant swatches, or download the palette.
The palette groups sampled pixels into color families and ranks them by frequency. It is a practical starting point for design, not a calibrated measurement. Very transparent pixels are excluded from the dominant palette. Your browser's color management and the original image profile can affect the RGB values you see. Sampling coordinates refer to the original pixel grid.

Is the palette saved anywhere?
Only if you download it. Images and extracted colors are never saved to an account or sent to a server.
